All About Zeph

Hello there! My name is Zephyr. I'm fortunate enough to have a steady job (for now), a roof over my head, and enough money to keep food on my table. This site is something that I'll be updating and adding to periodically - certainly not as a full-time thing, but more as a pleasant hobby.

I'm a lifelong gamer - one of my earliest childhood memories is my family getting a Nintendo Entertainment System/NES for Christmas (yes, I'm old, lol). I grew up as a Nintendo kid and eventually became a Nintendo kid in an adult body. I still play games when I can, although it can be tough to find the time outside of adulting these days.

I grew up reading (mostly from having a parent who demanded that I read books instead of watch TV shows and/or movies, and much like gaming, I still read today when I get the chance to do so. My taste in books definitely skews towards science fiction and fantasy, but my tastes are very similar to my tastes in music - if I enjoy it, I enjoy it, regardless of genre. (I'm NOT a fan of country or gospel music, though, so... there's that.)

At one point in my life I aspired to be a writer. I have notebooks full of half-formed story ideas that never saw their essence thought through to completion. The one (very short) story I did finish, I submitted to my college's literary journal, and it got published! I'm proud of that. I kind of wish I had a copy of it.

... Sadly, there isn't too much more to share about myself at this point. I'm very quiet and reserved, but I try to stream myself playing games every once in a while, so please feel free to check out the appropriate links on the left if you're so inclined!
